Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at Myntra, you will play an important role in making business decisions using data. Your tasks will include:
Business Decision Support: Create hypotheses, analyze data, and document findings to give clear insights.
Metric Monitoring: Watch vital business metrics like revenue, gross margins, pricing, conversion rates, and customer counts to hit business goals.
Stakeholder Influence: Work with different teams and stakeholders, such as planning and category management, to keep everyone aligned.
Metric Analysis: Look into platform and category metrics to spot challenges or opportunities. Provide solutions to improve strengths and tackle weaknesses.
Reporting Development: Make reports that give a full view of how things are going.
Statistical Analysis: Use statistical methods to analyze data, creating reports needed for smart business choices.
Project Prioritization: Help management figure out and prioritize data needs for all business areas.
Data Needs Assessment: Team up with managers to find out what specific data is needed for different projects.
Qualifications & Experience
To do well in this job, you should have:
An Engineering Degree from an accredited college or university.
At least 18 months of experience as a data analyst or something similar.
Experience with large datasets and relational databases; strong SQL skills are essential.
Good written & spoken communication skills.
Ability to work fast-paced & as part of a team while interacting well with all management levels.
Results-oriented mindset with excellent people skills; ability to work independently with little supervision.
Skills in advanced MS Excel, Python or R, and SQL are a must; knowing Power BI would be a plus.
