As an L1 Service Desk Engineer, you’ll be the first person clients reach out to when they need help! Your job will be to make sure customers are happy by solving their issues quickly. Here’s what you’ll do:
- Help customers through phone calls, chats, & emails from all over the world.
- Fix desktop hardware problems & troubleshoot Windows operating systems along with their peripherals.
- Create and manage tickets in real-time while following service level agreements (SLAs).
- If something can’t be fixed right away, escalate it to higher-level support when needed.
- Keep track of solutions and follow up with clients to make things better internally.
- Maintain details of customer’s and provide proper solutions to the customers.
- Provide correct information about various IT services and products to customers.
- Work with team members in 24/7 hours shifts.
Key Skills Required:
You should know about computer systems, mobile devices and how to troubleshoot technical problems well. And it’s important to:
- Diagnose issues swiftly & effectively.
- Troubleshoot remotely using diagnostic tools and communicate clearly.
- Have great communication skills—both spoken & written—and some customer service experience.
