Responsibilities of the Trainee
As a Trainee at Siemens, your core responsibilities will include:
- Bill of Materials (BOM) Management:
Generate and maintain accurate BOM for the Design Engineering Service Line, including Automation and Fire. - Material Information:
Update BOM with accurate information about materials from both Siemens and third-party suppliers. - Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the operational team, interact with various stakeholders, and coordinate with Team Leaders (TLs) for BOM prioritization. - Automation and Fire Tasks:
Handle automation tasks like running DT to SAP BOM transfers, inserting missing materials, and managing deviations. - SAP Operations:
Associate quotes to line items in SAP, insert and update Sourcing Approval Forms (SAF), and manage re-estimates for the Design Engineer.
