Job Details

Key Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer at Orkes, you will play a critical role in guiding customers through the technical evaluation phase and helping them realize value from Orkes Enterprise Cloud. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Expertise in Netflix Conductor and Orkes:
   • Develop deep expertise in Netflix Conductor and Orkes while excelling in engineering architecture and design.
   • Lead clients through the evaluation and adoption of Orkes and Netflix Conductor, ensuring they achieve their goals.
2. Customer Support and Technical Advisory:
   • Support customers by creating reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications tailored to their needs.
   • Act as a technical advisor, collaborating closely with your Account Executive to build successful relationships with clients in your assigned territory.
3. Community Engagement:
   • Engage with both internal and customer technical communities by leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
   • Share your knowledge and experience, helping to drive the adoption and success of Orkes technologies.
4. Leadership in Technical Sales:
   • Demonstrate technical concepts effectively, including presenting and whiteboarding, to convey complex ideas to clients.
   • Provide thought leadership to clients across various sectors, helping them understand and implement scalable, reliable platforms.

Qualities for Success

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualities:

• Industry Experience: Pre- or post-sales experience in sectors such as Retail, FinTech, CyberSecurity, or HealthCare, with a focus on cross-vertical use cases like Application Modernization.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience designing and implementing architectures within a public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Coding Expertise: Fluency in one or more programming languages, including Java, C#, Python, GoLang, or JavaScript.
• Communication Skills: Ability to present technical concepts clearly and engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
