Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer 1 at ClearTax, you will be involved with the entire product life cycle from inception to design exercise, development effort and delivery cadence.
Modules Design, Coding and Delivery: Full ownership of leading modules end-to-end. You will be responsible for writing clean, successful code and working on reliable systems that are well-performing & scalable.
Agile Development: Iteratively develop the application within an Agile framework, with input from the product team at each iteration to align on project requirements.
Troubleshooting: Transform difficult and possibly unclear trade subjects into technical solutions. You must be able to estimate, plan and execute solutions on your own.
Skills Required
Coding Proficiency – Strong coding skills across multiple languages. ClearTax is language agnostic and we love polyglot developers!
Scalability-centric: When building web systems to scale, with the clear focus on creating reusable modules.
Adaptability: work seamlessly in an informal environment, deal with short turnarounds and handles ambiguity well.
Technical Problem Solving: Can take a fuzzy business problem, and breakdown it into technical tasks & quickly execute on them.
