Job Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: As a member of the Support organization, your primary focus will be to deliver post-sales support and solutions to Oracle’s customer base, serving as an advocate for customer needs.
- Technical Assistance: Resolve non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, and address technical questions regarding the use and troubleshooting of Oracle’s Electronic Support Services.
- Customer Interaction: Interface with customers’ IT staff regularly, either on-site or remotely, to resolve moderately complex technical problems related to Oracle products.
- Problem Solving: Responsible for installation, recommended maintenance, and use/repair workarounds for Oracle products. You will need to have knowledge of some Oracle products and at least one platform being supported.
- Guidance and Independence: Expected to work with general guidance from senior engineers and management, with the ability to work independently in certain areas.
Skills Required:
- Technical Skills: A foundational knowledge of Oracle products and platforms is essential, allowing you to navigate and utilize these tools effectively. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues swiftly will be key in ensuring smooth operations and providing reliable support. With a knack for diagnosing problems and implementing solutions, you’ll help maintain the integrity and performance of our systems.
- Communication Skills: You’ll need to have a solid command of English, both written and spoken, to truly shine in this role. Your ability to articulate clearly and professionally will help you provide excellent support to customers and resolve their inquiries effectively. Additionally, your strong communication skills will enable you to work seamlessly with internal teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring everyone stays on the same page.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address diverse customer situations and escalated issues.
